| 31 December 2009 | Happy New Year from HM Revenue & Customs! The VAT rate returns to 17.5% from 1 January 2010. The previous 15% rate ran from 1 December 2008 to 31 December 2009. All services provisioned or renewed from tomorrow forwards will be billed using the standard 17.5% VAT rate where applicable. Initially there will be an expanded customer login area allowing easy updates to your address and contact details, viewing your packages and renewal dates, some quota usage information and easy links to the correct email admin, webmail, and database admin areas. |
