| 24 December 2007 | We are now closed for the Christmas holiday period until Monday 7 January 2008. Emergency on call number will be operational as normal, but please do only use in case of a genuinely urgent situation. | 10-14 December 2007 | During the week Monday 10th to Friday 14th December we are helping our local school with their Christmas plays. | 3 December 2007 | Due to popular demand we have now added the ability to host databases on our Bud account as a cost option. This allows clients to gain database access on a business grade account at a lower price point
than having to jump all the way up to our Tree Advanced Database package. |

Select news and press releases from 3rd parties will be added to this section only if they relay particularly important or ground breaking information. The first is a press release from Friends of the Earth regarding Carbon Offsetting. |
| 27 September 2007 | We are pleased to announce that we have now dropped the setup fee on the Tree and Forest hosting accounts, saving new business customers £50 or £150 ex VAT respectively. The setup fee was there to help cover our costs in setting up these more complicated accounts when we started the business. As things have become more routine and streamlined we can now remove this additional charge. |
| 28 August 2007 | We hope our UK clients enjoyed the Bank Holiday and we are pleased to announce even more price reductions! We have reduced the price of additional .com style domains from £14.10 to £11.75 bringing them in line with the current cost for .uk domains. Tucows, our provider for most non UK domains, have dropped charges for whois privacy and so we have passed this saving on to our clients too (previous cost £5.88). Existing clients will see prices adjusted at their next renewal. We are applying both savings from 1 August 2007. |
| 4 July 2007 | Packages enhanced: Business hosting inclusive databases have been increased on the Tree and Forest accounts from 2 and 5 to 5 and 10 respectively as from today. |

Monday 4 June 2007 | Emergency cover only! Me and my family are going to the Sunrise Celebration festival and during this extended weekend period there will be no one answering the main telephone line or monitoring emails. An answer service is being set up on the 0113 238 3938 number which will provide details of the emergency number if you need an immediate response or take messages which will be followed up after 5th June. Please click here to see the new options pricing. This change results in a price drop of over 42% on additional .uk domains and will be applied to all customers old and new with immediate effect. |

| 28 November 2006 | Major server migration: Over the past few weeks a great deal of effort has been put in to creating a completely new infrastructure at the data centre and getting initial server installations completed in the new environment. The main work focus now is on migrating all clients off the old systems and on to the new. All vserver users have already been migrated with shared hosting and email migrations now well underway. | 15 November 2006 | Overnight major alteration to the Ecological Hosting web site successfully completed to give all our pages more logical, human friendly URLs (for example: www.ecologicalhosting.com/hosting replaces www.ecologicalhosting.com/index.php?p=hosting&s=i). We also added a Customer Testimonials page. |
| 22 September 2006 | At 4.30am this morning, we finally completed a major new email service installation. POP3 mailbox setup and passwords, aliases, forwards, out of office responder and spam control all configurable by individual users via a specialist web based control panel and SquirrelMail (webmail) interfaces. New customers will automatically be added to this system. If any existing clients would like to be migrated sooner rather than later, please contact us. |
| 6 September 2006 | We are pleased to announce that we have added a large number of top level domains to our registration capabilities. These include the new .eu domain and many country specific domains (e.g. .ie, .fr, .it). |
| 21 August 2006 | Our new Co-operative Bank business account is finally operational. Look out for the new account details on our invoices. The change hasn't been easy, but the Co-operative Bank operating principles and ethics are much closer to our own than the outgoing bank. |
