New Wind Powered Servers in UK

We are pleased to announce that our new UK based Ecotricity wind powered service is now live! The new service runs on IBM flagship hardware optimised for speed including use of the latest Intel XEON Nahelem CPUs and 10k 2.5″ SAS hard drives running as RAID10 arrays. Linux vservers are the first service to be activated and these will be closely followed by a UK based Linux shared hosting option. We will also be migrating our main email systems to the UK over the next few of weeks.
